We are looking for talented individuals to join our team! We’d love to hear from you if you’re passionate about these research topics. Email Dr. Su at cysu@nycu.edu.tw if you are interested.

  • Students, research assistants, and postdoctoral researchers with expertise or interest in spatial transcriptomics, cancer biology, or molecular biology.
  • Undergraduate and graduate students interested in tumor model engineering, including in vitro, in silico, and in vivo.
  • International students are also welcome to join our lab through the IIPP program.

Primary Investigator

Chia-Yi Su 蘇佳沂 M.D. Ph.D.

Chia-Yi (Joy) is an assistant professor at the Institute of Biophotonics, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. She earned her M.D. from Kaohsiung Medical University and completed an anatomic pathology residency at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, becoming certified as both a physician and pathologist. After transitioning from clinical practice to academia, she worked on cancer research at Academia Sinica. Then, she earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where she also completed a brief postdoctoral fellowship. Returning to Taiwan, she established the Cancer Engineering Lab, which is dedicated to developing innovative therapies for cancer recurrence and metastasis through integrating biomedical and engineering approaches.
